Hai guize,

ich habe vor gegen Ende des Monats gen England zu fliegen (1wöchiger Trip). Leider bin ich TR-Staatsbürger und England ist kein Schengen-Vollmitglied, weswegen für mich eine Visapflicht besteht.
Nun ist das mein erstes Mal, dass ich ein Visum brauche und ich hab somit keine Ahnung was genau auf mich zukommt. Den Antrag hab ich ausgefüllt und abgeschickt, ein Termin ist vereinbart.
Ein wenig Angst macht mir die Frage, was ich alles mitnehmen sollte, damit mein Antrag aussicht auf Erfolg hat. Natürlich einen gültigen Pass, Aufenthaltserlaubnis, Kontoauszüge?, Aufenthalts/Meldebescheinigung?. Ich bin derzeit arbeitslos aber hab mich fürs SoSe beworben (erst letztes Jahr abi gemacht). Ist das ein großes Problem? Ausreichend finanzielle Rücklagen hab ich auf jeden Fall.

Hoffe irgendjemand hier hat schonmal ein ähnliches Problem gehabt und kann mir helfen.

Kontoauszüge? Wtf? Reisepass reicht in der Regel vollkommen. Bei manchen Ländern muss man bei der Einreise noch ein Rückflugticket vorzeigen - das war's dann aber auch schon.

have permission to spend money from the account 
- If your spouse or partner is employed then the Entry Clearance Officer would also like to see evidence of their
employment and financial details.

Bank statements or bank books Showing what has been paid in and out of an account for up to the previous six 
months, and naming the account holder. If you have made deposits in your 
account that are not in keeping with the account history then you may wish to 
explain the origins and timing of these deposits. 

Bank letter or balance certificate Showing the account balance, the account holder’s name and the date when 
the account was opened. If you provide this document you should consider 
providing additional documents to show the origins of the money in your 
account.

Payslips Covering up to the previous six months. If your salary is paid directly into your 
bank account, you should consider providing the statements showing these 
payments

Tax returns (business or personal) You could include recent documents from your government tax office, 
confirming your income and the amount of tax that you have paid
Business bank account statements If you include these you may wish to explain why you are allowed to spend the 
money from a business account if you are on a private visit

Evidence of income from property or land
This could include property deeds, mortgage statements, tenancy agreements, 
accountant’s letters, land registration documents or crop receipts. If the 
property or land is registered in several names, you may wish to explain how
much you own. If the money earned from the land is shared, you may wish to
say how it is divided

Joa naja, es heißt could aber scheint wohl sehr erwünscht zu sein. Vor allem da ich ja als arbeitsloser gelte soll das einen besonderen Stellenwert haben. Fun fact: Mein Einbürgerungsantrag wurde abgelehnt weil ich keine festanstellung hab und auch keinen Studien/Arbeitsplatz bisher. Wenn Deutschland schon nich riskieren will, dass ich jemandem auf der Tasche sitze, wird England das noch weniger wollen.

Aber ich muss dir auch recht geben, einige Freunde von mir (Weltreisen sind grad voll im Trend) haben auch gemeint sie sind mit nem Aktenberg zur Botschaft/whatever gefahren um das Visum zu holen und haben dann nur nen Reisepass vorzeigen müssen. Trotzdem gibts auch absolut andere Erfahrungen zu dem Thema und deswegen will ich mir hier son generelles Stimmungsbild einholen.
