Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World - Series
Sekai no chûshin de, ai o sakebu
Inhaltsangabe:
A best-selling novel turned box office hit (not to mention award-winning drama), Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World recycles the Japanese romance into a clichÈd, yet emotional tale to set movie trends and bring forth the imitations. Itís a standard tragedy, a story of ìpure loveî between two teens in 1986. Saku, is your average lethargic motorcycle-riding boy, who takes notice of a seemingly unattainable girl, Aki. Just your average beautiful, highly intelligent and athletic girl. A chance encounter leads into the blossoming of romance and so on.
However, in the present, Saku (now Sakutaro) is an apathetic city man in his thirties, engaged to the (also) beautiful Ritsuko. She discovers a tape from her past and leaves immediately, and by chance, Sakutoro finds out she is in his childhood town. This gets his nostalgia going, and he decides to return and recount his memories from his romance-filled teen years with Aki.

Abstand traurigste was mir jemals untergekommen ist.
If Aki could laugh, i wouldn't mind not being able to laugh forever.
If Aki wants to cry, i would hold back my tears forever.
If i were told to die for Aki, i would die gladly.
That day, i was seriously thinking about those things.
Und abschliessend noch mein Lieblingszitat, welches sehr oft vorkommt: 'Why am i still alive?'
