We do not support playing the game through any firewalls/routers. If connecting directly to the modem works fine, then it is the problem with the router.

Did you read what I wrote? I don´t think so...
First I said that ALL firewalls ARE disabled!
AND I said, that the Portforwarding works fine.
The manufacturer will say: "Oh, if portforwarding works with every application except Quake 4, please contact the manufacturer of Quake 4." That´s what I´m doing...

If you can connect directly, that means it's an issue with the firewall, please contact the manufacturer for further information.

Speed Test results are 1500 down, 175 up...

If I connect directly to the internet, everything works fine and I can join servers.
But the router is necessary.
I tried to forward port 28004 directly and set up a DMZ. I disabled all firewalls. But the error still occurs (unable to join servers, refreshing server list brings up ~ 100 servers, refreshing once again 0 servers).
Perhaps my Quake Client tells the Server "Hi, my IP Adress is 192.168.0.23" instead of the IP Adress NATed by the router?
If it is so, how can I change it?
I can´t switch per Alt+Tab to the Desktop while Quake Client is running to perform the Port Scan. But this is another error and not that important to me, now...
I know, that the Router works fine. Every port I forward IS forwarded. That means, I´m sure Portforwarding works fine.
Please help...

Hi!
I have a problem to play Quake 4 online...
When I start Quake 4 Multiplayer it shows about ~ 450 to 500 Servers. If I want to join, after a while it tells me "No Response from x.x.x.x:28004 after 15 challenges". The same at every server I try to join.
If I Refresh the Server List, it shows no servers, but it tells me he scanned ~ 100 servers. If I refresh once again, it tells me, he scanned 0 servers.
What´s wrong here?
I´ve manually updated Punkbuster via pbweb.exe, it went fine.
I´ve a router. Ports are all forwarded (I set up DMZ), Firewalls of course temporarily disabled, but the error still occurs...
I´ve DSL 2000 and no connection probs (no lags etc.). I purchased the UK DVD Version of Quake 4.
Pls help.
Thx in advance
Greetz
